Denver Trip

As a band trip, we visited the great city of Denver, Colorado. This was the first time I had been in Denver, so it was an exciting experience. We visited the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. It was extremely impressive. I was truly expecting something strictly science. However, they mixed technology and nature quite well. They had a wonderful exhibit dealing with aspects of space, such as the planets and then technology we use to view them. They also had a speaker on meteors and telescopes to view the Sun's black spots. On the higher floors there were exhibits detailing different environment and the plants and animals which live there. There were also gem exhibits, a mummy exhibit and a large showcase of snakes and reptiles (WHICH WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!). On the top floor there was a veranda where I took the photo of Denver's skyline.

After we visited the Nature and Science Museum we toured the famous 16th Street Mall. It was exhilirating to be in a large urban area like that. There were multitudes of clothing store and eating places, including, the Hard Rock Cafe. I was pleased to add another Hard Rock pin to my collection! Then, came PinkBerry which was glorious! They make specialty smoothies with frozen yogurt. It tasted wonderful, fruity and creamy.

We ended the trip by seeing a Rockies baseball game. It was the first professional game I had ever seen and it did not disappoint... except for the fact that the Rockies lost, nevertheless! It was fun.

Senior Prom Flowers 2012

These are the photos of some beautiful flowers for prom. The top left boutonniere belonged to my best friend Sean. He pulled off a gray suit with style while his date had a pretty blue dress. The yellow roses belonged to my date, Quinn and me. I loved my corsage, it was fantastically stunning; however, I do love flowers, in particular, roses.
