Chasing the Sun- November 2012

In early November, I returned to Mulberry Creek State Park, Nebraska and had the pleasure of watching the sunset. These are some of my favorite photos, and while focusing on getting prints for myself, I happened to forget to post them. How dare I!? Happy New Years!!

Omaha: Black and White Shots

This last weekend I had the pleasure of visiting Omaha, Nebraska. It was wonderfully festive down in Old Market. Below are some of my favorite black and white shots :) Enjoy!

Around Campus: Passing Fancies

These photos were taken early October while I was spending a morning walking around campus. They were "passing fancies" and I didn't have an objective in editing them. Some I tried extensive things and others, like the second lily, I left almost completely alone aside from cropping.

Dakota Days 2012

 Here are some shots from this year's Dakota Days, USD's Homecoming. My favorite part was hearing all of the bands, particularly "The Sound of USD." I was somewhat disappointed in the floats, however. The second shot is of Red, a local steakhouse. Though it has nothing to do with DDays, I liked the look of the photo and it's name is quite supportive of the University!

Around Campus: Play on Rose Bud

First off, school is going great! I'm loving the campus life and all of my classes... it's just a lot more studying than I expected :) Weather has been getting steadily colder; however I did manage to take some rose pictures before the temps dropped. This is a rose bud that I saw near the admissions office and really liked and so I did some "plays" on it. Enjoy!
